TBB Pilot Project Update 5, September 2017

We are happy to share that more than 9,500 people have registered with Talent Beyond Boundaries on our online Talent Catalog, helping TBB share the talents among displaced people with global private sector employers and build partnerships.

Our most recent news is that a number of TBB participants are currently interviewing with a leading global management consulting firm, in addition to a Canadian construction company, while TBB’s first participant has been offered a job with a multinational tech company in Australia. TBB is working with a number of participants on job-readiness coaching, while other TBB candidates are working with TBB’s partner Paper Airplanes on English language training.

We especially encourage individuals with strong English or French language skills from any professional field to register with TBB. To date we have seen particular interest in Information Technology fields (especially as software engineers, IT support specialists and others), individuals with experience in the semiconductor industry, financial professionals and analysts, and skilled trades (e.g. roofers, mechanics, industrial experience) but encourage any individual displaced from their home country and living in Jordan or Lebanon to register.

Talent Beyond Boundaries continues to work with several international employer partners who are considering candidates from TBB’s Talent Catalog in their international recruiting.

Meanwhile, we continue our work to expand our network of employer partners interesting in considering recruitment from TBB’s Talent Catalog.

Lastly, we would like to kindly remind you that if you have not completed your profile, have new details to share, or information has changed, log back into your account and update your profile. TBB may contact you by phone to work with you to improve your profile.
